"The location was fantastic, very close to everything we wanted to do. The property and the room were clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the staff there were great and on top of filling everything. The only downside for us was, my husband and son tried to use the waterslide and the hot tub (the reason we booked this hotel was for the waterslide) but the water to the waterslide wouldn't come on, same with the jets in the hot tub. I should have called the front desk and checked on it, but we had other things going on so I didn't bother. At checkout, I mentioned it to the front desk staff and she thought maybe they hadn't pressed the buttons to engage those things, but I checked with them and they did. Not sure what happened there- it was disappointing but may have been able to be resolved. If you have issues please let them know ASAP and I'm sure they will take care of that."

"We stayed for one night in Digby, the staff were excellent! The room was very clean and it had a beautiful view of the bay. One of our little Yorkies needed to go out at 4am, while my husband was taking her for a walk, they saw a fox. He said the night sky was so clear you could see so many stars, if you live in a big city, nights like that are very rare. It’s close to the ferry and only a few kms from Downtown Digby. I recommend that you visit The Crows Nest for their famous Seafood Chowder and also Debra Howard at Quilts by the Bay, if you are a Quilter, her selection is amazing, they also have homemade Quilts for purchase."

"We were greeted by friendly luggage porters in kilts to this beautiful historic resort who loaded up our large suitcases on carts and once checked in, the porter delivered them to our room. We had a nicely decorated room with a large smart tv and a very comfortable king bed. We ate at the pub the first evening and the food and service was exceptional. Dinner was followed by a ghost tour at 9 pm which was a lot of fun and provided some history of the hotel. We ate breakfast in the main dining room both mornings and I ordered the omelette with a fruit bowl - best omelette I can remember eating, so had it the second morning too. My husband used the indoor pool and hot tub but I decided to relax in the room after a busy day. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend."

"Convenient to Bay Ferry and Reversing Falls. Facility was clean and neat. Accommodated us on room change due to the workout room location with no issue. Could have a bigger TV in the living room, Sunday Night Football with the Dallas Cowboys was on! Parking lot needs refinish and better lighting behind the building."
